Çocuklar İçin Felsefe / Anaokullarında P4C
P4C bir insanın tüm yaşamı ve eğitim hayatı boyunca ihtiyaç duyacağı, eleştirel ve yaratıcı düşünme yetisini geliştirir. Çocuklar onlarla paylaşılan bir hikaye, film ya da resim üzerinde birlikte sohbet ederek sorularına cevaplar bulmaya ya da yeni sorular sormaya, fikirlerini özgürce paylaşmaya, arkadaşlarını dinlemeye, onların düşüncelerine itiraz ederken özenli olmaya ya da aynı düşünceye katılarak o düşünceyi işbirliği içinde geliştirmeyi öğrenir.
Amaç çocuklara düşünmeyi öğretmek, soru sormayı, sorgulamayı öğretmektir. P4C eğitim yaklaşımını geliştiren Matthew Lipman, çocukların doğasından gelen merak ve keşfetme arzusunun felsefe ile birleştirildiğinde, çocukları gelecekte daha esnek ve etkin düşünen yetişkinler haline getireceğine inanmaktadır.
Thomas E.Jackson, çocuklarla felsefe eğitimine ana okulunda başlanılmasını, ilk öğretim müfredatında yer almasını ve düzenli bir ders olarak yapılmasını öngörmüştür.
Jackson- konsepti P4C ile aşağıdaki yetilerin geliştiğini ortaya koymuştur:
1. Kişilik Geliştiren Yetiler:
Çocukların kendilerine güven duymalar
Nedenlere dayandırılabilen kendi düşüncelerini oluşturma
Kendi kendilerini kritik edebilme
Başkalarına karşı kendi görüşlerini savunabilme ve gerektiğinde hayır diyebilmek
2. Sosyal Yetiler:
Tartışmaya hazır bulunuşluk
Başka görüşleri kabullenme
Demokratik anlayış
Farklı çözüm ve önerilere açık olma
Biz duygusunu yaşamak
İletişim becerilerinin artması
Çatışma veya eleştiriyi zenginlik olarak tanıma ve kabul etme
3. Mantıksal Yetiler:
Delillendirme gücü ve yetisi
Eleştirel ve mantıklı düşünce
Değerlendirme ve yargılama gücünü destekleme, geliştirme
Okul öncesi öğretmenleri olarak,Çocukca Felsefe eTwinning projemizde,
öğrencilerimize bu yetileri kazandırmayı amaçladık ve uyguladık.
P4C in Philosophy / Kindergartens for Children
P4C applications are extremely important for children of this age group
who have the potential to ask a very strong questioning intelligence to reveal their potential.
It is of great importance to develop this basic feature of the human,
which we define as a thinking entity, with awareness at a young age.
P4C develops the critical and creative thinking skills that a person will need throughout
their entire life and education life.
Children learn to find answers to their questions by chatting on a story,
movie or picture shared with them, or to ask new questions, to share their ideas freely,
to listen to their friends, to be attentive while objecting to their thoughts,
or to develop that thought in cooperation by participating in the same thought.
The aim is to teach children to think, to ask questions, to question.
Developing the P4C educational approach,
Matthew Lipman believes that the curiosity and desire to discover from the nature of children,
combined with philosophy, will make children more flexible and effective think adults
in the future.
Thomas E. Jackson predicted that philosophy education with children should start in
kindergarten,take place in the primary education curriculum and be held as a regular course.
The Jackson-concept revealed that with the P4C, the following abilities developed:
1. Personality Development Abilities:
Children's self-confidence
Creating your own thoughts that can be based on causes
Self-critical
Defending their own opinions against others and saying no when necessary
2. Social Skills:
Readiness to discuss
Accepting other opinions
Democratic understanding
Being open to different solutions and suggestions
We live the feeling
Increased communication skills
Recognizing and accepting conflict or criticism as wealth
3. Logical Abilities:
Proofing ability and ability
Critical and logical thinking
Supporting and developing the power of evaluation and judgment
As pre-school teachers, in our Child Philosophy eTwinning project,
We aimed to bring these skills to our students and applied them.
